For Felicia, studying paid off in more ways than one. She was hitting the books at the home of her law school classmates when their roommate Dan walked in. Four and a half years later, on her 28th birthday, Dan proposed to Felicia on their terrace, after a day filled with romantic surprises. Rabbi Michael Friedman presided over the ceremony, which took place at the Birchwood Country Club, as did the reception. The couple surprised their guests with their choreographed first dance to “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran. The bride is the daughter of Jill and Howard Quentzel of Westport. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Emory University, and her juris doctor degree from American University. She is an attorney for Covington & Burling LLP in Washington, D.C. The groom is the son of Bridget and Anthony Albano of Avondale, Pennsylvania. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in biomedical engineering and received a master’s in electrical engineering from the University of the District of Columbia. He works at Northrup Grumman in Baltimore as an engineer. The couple honeymooned in Hawai’i before returning home to Washington, D.C.
